WJELSRYP 1958
Painter of mainly the Frisian landscape, expressive, in large format and often in bright colors. Always looking for the furthest horizon, new compositions and color schemes. Currently, her work and research is mainly about the plants in the landscape and life in and on the soil: Fertile Soil.
In 2015, Doet founded the Art Academy Friesland, with a broad vocational training with many disciplines and levels. See www.kunstacademiefriesland.nl.
She now works there as general director and as a first-degree teacher. Doet gives painting lessons, workshops, lectures, team building activities and refresher courses for groups.
Doet works as a free artist and also on commission.
